Welsh duo Overmono released their debut album, Good Lies, on May 12, 2023, via XL Recordings. Brothers Tom and Ed Russell were already known in the UK scene through their solo projects Tessela and Truss.

The album blends garage, techno, breakbeat and chopped vocal samples, with production that works both in clubs and at festivals. The tracks were tested live before taking shape in the studio.

So U Kno and Is U were among the singles that preceded the album. The duo also played festivals in Europe around the release.

Good Lies was received as one of the most complete dance records of the year, combining pop ambition with dancefloor experimentation.
