Lollapalooza Brazil will no longer take place in December 2020. T4F, the promoter behind the festival, announced on Friday (September 4) that the event moves to September 10, 11 and 12, 2021.
According to the promoter, the decision follows guidance from national health authorities. Tickets bought for this year remain valid for the new dates.
The 2020 edition had already been rescheduled once, moving from April to December because of the pandemic. With the new postponement, T4F did not confirm any names from the lineup, which had been committed to acts including Travis Scott, the Strokes and Guns N' Roses.
In its statement, the promoter said it would have loved to stage another unforgettable festival this year, but that the safety of fans, artists, partners and crews remains the priority.
