Singer and producer Kelela released her second album, Raven, on February 10, 2023, via Warp Records. The record arrives five years after 2017's Take Me Apart.

Raven dives into experimental R&B, ambient and club music, with broken beats and ethereal vocals. The lyrics address love, community and the experience of Black queer women, with a sense of rebuilding after a period of loss.

Happy Ending and On the Run are among the singles. The album was produced by Kelela with collaborators including Kingdom, Mocky and Asmara, and received a remixed version in 2024.

Critics received Raven as one of the most ambitious works of Kelela's career, praising the combination of vocal delicacy and dancefloor production.
