The rapper Juice WRLD has died aged 21. The death was confirmed by Illinois' Cook County medical examiner's office on Sunday (December 8).

The musician, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, landed at Chicago's Midway airport on Sunday morning, suffered a seizure and began bleeding from the mouth, according to reports.

Distinguished by a sound that combined emo and trap, he broke out in 2018 with the single Lucid Dreams, which sampled Sting's Shape of My Heart. It peaked at No 2 on the US singles chart and was the first of 25 hits featuring the rapper by then.
