British producer Jamie xx released his second solo album, In Waves, on September 20, 2024, via Young. The record arrives nearly a decade after 2015's In Colour.

The album features collaborations with Robyn on Life, with The xx bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim on Waited All Night, and with Honey Dijon on Baddy on the Floor. The production blends house, breakbeat, garage and ambient passages.

In Waves was built as a continuous experience, with tracks that connect and samples that recur throughout. The producer presented the material on a tour that passed through festivals and clubs in Europe and the United States.
