IDLES released their fifth album, TANGK, on February 16, 2024, via Partisan Records. The record follows 2021's Crawler and was co-produced by Nigel Godrich, Kenny Beats and guitarist Mark Bowen.

The Bristol band keeps the urgency of post-punk but makes room for synthesizers, strings and more melodic choruses. Its 10 tracks deal with love, gratitude and vulnerability, in contrast to the anger that marked their early work.

Dancer was the first single, followed by Grace and Gift Horse. TANGK was well received by critics and sent the band on a world tour with festival and arena shows.
