IDLES release their fourth album, Crawler, on November 12, 2021, via Partisan. The record follows 2020's Ultra Mono and was produced by Kenny Beats and Mark Bowen.

Crawler keeps the urgency of post-punk but dives into more personal themes such as addiction, trauma and self-destruction, with synthesizers, noise and slower passages. The Beachland Ballroom and Car Crash preceded the release.

The album was received as one of the band's darkest and most ambitious works, with production that expands their sound without abandoning the energy of their live shows.
