Fontaines D.C. release their third album, Skinty Fia, on April 22, 2022, via Partisan Records. The record follows 2020's A Hero's Death and was produced by Dan Carey.

The Irish band based in London expand the post-punk of their early work with synthesizers, slower beats and lyrics about identity, homesickness and living outside Ireland. Jackie Down the Line was the first single.

The title comes from an Irish phrase about the curse of the deer, used as a metaphor for extinction and the loss of roots. Skinty Fia was received as the group's most ambitious work to that point.
