Dry Cleaning release their debut album, New Long Leg, on April 2, 2021, via 4AD. The London band was already known for the singles Scratchcard Lanyard and Strong Feelings.

The record combines post-punk guitars, dense bass and Florence Shaw's spoken narration, with lyrics mixing everyday observations, surreal images and dry humor. It was produced by John Parish.

New Long Leg was received as one of the year's most original debuts, with Shaw's voice guiding a sound that refuses traditional verse-chorus structure.
