Diiv have announced a 47-date 2027 world tour in support of ZIRP!, their new A. G. Cook-produced album, out this Friday (October 30) on Fantasy Recordings. The run kicks off in Sydney on February 12 and concludes with a hometown London show on June 30.
The band first heads through Australia and New Zealand in February, playing Laneway Festival in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland, plus two nights in Tokyo. The North American leg begins in Minneapolis on April 7 and stops in Chicago, New York, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and Phoenix, among other cities.
In Europe, the tour passes through Lille, Paris, Rennes, Lyon and Barcelona, where the band plays Primavera Sound, as well as Hilvarenbeek, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Munich, Cologne and Zurich. The closing stretch takes in Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Bristol and London.
ZIRP! follows the band's 2024 album Frog in Boiling Water and features the songs “The Fountain” and “Kid,” the latter of which got a September video filmed by frontman Zachary Cole Smith's son Roy and a friend. Alongside the tour announcement, the group shared a new single, “Dare Me.”
Before 2027, Diiv play this year's Pitchfork Paris and Pitchfork London festivals alongside Iceage, Bassvictim, the Avalanches, Los Thuthanaka, Noname and Bill Orcutt.
