Deafheaven announced their sixth studio album, Lonely People With Power, on January 27, 2025, with a release date of March 28 via Roadrunner Records. The record follows 2021's Infinite Granite.

The first taste is Magnolia, a track accompanied by a music video that signals a return to the California band's black metal roots after the cleaner, shoegaze-leaning sound of its predecessor.

Lonely People With Power is Deafheaven's first album for Roadrunner. The San Francisco band is led by vocalist George Clarke and guitarist Kerry McCoy.

Days after the announcement, the group confirmed a 2025 North American tour, with shows beginning in March.
