Criolo released the video for Boca de Lobo on Monday (October 1), a track in which the São Paulo rapper targets corrupt politicians. The clip arrived with a big-budget look and plenty of metaphors.
According to Tenho Mais Discos Que Amigos, the video ties political parties and Brazilian public figures to scandals and to the neglect of the population. Embezzled money, the lyrics say, kills people every day.
Among the references are the Mariana disaster, the fire at the National Museum and violence in the cities. In one of the highlighted lines, Criolo sings about “cocaine in the helicopter while the teacher's salary is microscopic”.
