Bicep release their second album, Isles, on January 22, 2021, via Ninja Tune. The record follows their self-titled 2017 debut and was produced by the Northern Irish duo of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson.

Isles keeps the breakbeat and club rhythms but leans into brighter synthesizers and home-listening tracks, reflecting a period without dancefloors during the pandemic. Apricots and Sundial were the first singles.

The album was received as an evolution of the duo's sound, with more attention to texture and melody without losing the energy of their early EPs and remixes.
