Beach House release their eighth album, Once Twice Melody, on February 18, 2022, via Sub Pop. It is a double album with 18 tracks and about 84 minutes, issued in four chapters over several months.

The Baltimore duo of Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally expand their usual dream pop with strings, dense synthesizers and sharper beats. The tracks range from songs without drums to acoustic guitar pieces and electronic passages.

The title track and Superstar opened the rollout. Once Twice Melody was received as one of the band's most ambitious works, with richer production and a scale that recalls film scores.
