London producer and DJ aya announced her second studio album, hexed!, on January 30, 2025, with a release date of March 28 via Hyperdub. The record follows 2021's im hole.

The first track shared is Off to the Esso. The album was mastered by Joker and mixed by James Ginzburg, according to the release credits.

hexed! digs into themes of addiction, grief and survival, with production that combines UK bass, industrial noise and fractured vocals. The artist described the process as one of the hardest of her career.

The album announcement came with a short UK tour in the spring, including dates in London and Manchester.
