Anitta made her Rock in Rio debut on Saturday (October 5), straight onto the Palco Mundo, and Tenho Mais Discos Que Amigos' review says the performance fell short of what part of the audience and the press expected.
The show opened with the Furacão 2000 sound system and a guest turn from MC Andinho singing Rap da Felicidade, introducing the singer to the crowd. Despite the euphoric start, what followed was, per the review, a flat performance with smaller versions of her hits and almost no interaction with the audience.
The absence of her collaborators also hurt: much of the setlist was made up of guest features, and on Sua Cara the crowd only reacted when Pabllo Vittar's voice came through the speakers. For the piece, she could not carry a show the size of the main stage on her own.
