Alvvays release their third album, Blue Rev, on October 7, 2022, via Polyvinyl and Transgressive. The record arrives five years after 2017's Antisocialites.

The Toronto band keeps its indie pop of guitars and airy vocals but adds layers of noise, synthesizers and denser beats. Pharmacist was the first single, followed by Pomeranian Spinster.

Blue Rev was recorded quickly and mixed by Shawn Everett, known for his work with pop and indie artists. The album was received as one of the year's best guitar records, with lyrics about love, anxiety and displacement.
