Duo 100 gecs, formed by Dylan Brady and Laura Les, released their second album, 10,000 gecs, on March 17, 2023, via Dog Show Records and Atlantic. The record follows 2019's 1000 gecs.

The album has ten tracks and runs just over 26 minutes, racing through hyperpop, pop-punk, ska, nu-metal and electronic music. The production uses distorted vocals, synthetic guitars and unexpected samples.

Dumbest Girl Alive received a video on the release day. The duo also played the songs on a tour across North America and Europe.

10,000 gecs was received as one of the most fun and radical records of the year, confirming the duo's role in renewing experimental pop in the 2020s.
