On October 31, 2005, Blink-182 released the Greatest Hits compilation. The album runs through the pop punk trio's career, from radio hits to more melodic tracks.

The collection arrived during a break for the group and served as a summary of a decade of activity.

The date marks the release of a work that sums up the most commercial phase of American pop punk.
